All the movies aficionados who have watched the bloodcurdling 2010 action movie, Machete, have good new waiting for them, and incidentally it’s from the same director-actor duo that set the screen ablaze a couple of years.

Yeah folks, I am talking about team Robert Rodriguez- Danny Trejo, which successfully brought out the big screen version of the popular Mexican action character, Machete Cortez.
The character that first appeared in 2001 Spy Kids movies went to become an impeccable trilogy, one of the movies being the 2010 Machete.
I guess, by now we have figured out what the latest buzz is all about. The acclaimed pair of director-actor has planned to bring out a sequel to Machete, a couple months. And it was a few days ago, the Machete Kills, the anticipated installment, got a shooting date.
Although it is not exactly known from which date the shooting will kick off, industry confirmed that the scheduled April month wouldn’t see an a shuffle.
In one of his interviews, the Mexican star, Trejo spoke his heart out and mentioned about the soaring fanatism for the badass character in first film. He didn’t forget to make it point that the new installment would be bigger than the first one.
Director Rodriguez has developed the script of the second movie along with his brother, Marcel Rodriguez with major contribution from Kyle Ward.
Undoubtedly, with an intimidating title, the sequel promises for some never-before-witnessed blood spill.
And all those who have seen Trejo in the shoes of the titular character in the first movie must be yearning to catch the sequel ASAP. After all, you can’t expect a marshmallow out of an enraged Mexican named Machete!
I just hope we get to see the killing spree in 2013.
