Plot : Written by Chuck Konzelman, Andrea Gyertson Nasfell and Cary Solomon, What If… , which revolves around the character of Ben Walker, has been directed by Dallas Jenkins. The movie starts with Ben living an affluent life, with loads of money. But this was not the case, fifteen years back. At that time he used to be madly in love with Wendy, the love of his life, during his college days. However, to engage himself into a tempting opportunity of pursuing a business, in order to make good money, he left it all. He also abandoned his religion, in order to grab this opportunity. Now a successful man, he is about to get married to a woman, who loves riches as much as Ben does. But what Ben gets to see one day, comes as a total shock to him. Catch What If… and see how Ben is visited by an angel, who gives him an insight into how things could have been, had Ben kept his faith in God. The story moves on to show Ben, married to his estranged girlfriend, Wendy, and the couple’s 2 daughters. It also shows how Ben’s teenage daughter, Kimberly, gets ready for church on a Sunday morning, and rebels against things. Ben is shown as a pastor, who is heading to the church to deliver his first sermon. What else could have happened, remains to be seen.
