Plot : ‘Watercolors’ is a romantic cum dramatic tale. It is directed by David Oliveras. This movie’s opening quotation, ‘Love is so short and forgetting is so long’, makes us to realize that no one can forget his/her first love. Following this quotation the movie centers a young artist Danny, who has lost his first love. The movie proceeds as Danny comes into the contact of Carter who is a swimming champion. They soon become friends when their family circumstances draw them together for a night. Danny assists troubled and distressed Carter in school. In fact Carter is striving with his drug problems and painful relations along with his alcoholic and cruel father. Danny & Carter’s budding relationship gets Danny out-of-his-shell as he rouses both his passions for art as well as his mushrooming gay sexuality. The movie is framed by the scenes of Danny as an adult successful artist.
