Plot : Directed by Zack Snyder, Watchmen is a science fiction based thrilling action drama set in an alternate 1985 America where costumed superheroes are a common sight. At a time when America and Russia are rapidly advancing towards an imminent nuclear war, a Rorschach, a hero who is considered to be half-insane, uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes in addition to millions of innocent civilians. As he joins his former teammates in a final attempt to save their lives and the world, the heroes uncover an elaborate plan which has links in the past and which if executed will bring catastrophic consequences for the future.
