Plot : Waist deep is a drama action movie which is directed by well known director Vondie Curtis-Hall. It is more or less based on the movie Bonnie and Clyde and some of the sub-plots are direct adaptation of it. The movie presents the mission of a responsible father who tries out everything to give freedom to his son. The movie starts with the scene in Los Angeles, where a paroled ex-convicted O2 assures his son that he will never ever leave his son unaccompanied. But all of a sudden his car is hijacked and his son is in the hands of his cruel archenemies. He takes the help of the street vendor to find out his son and both move out to check where the child is kept. In the meantime Lucky, who is the addicted brother of the ex-convict, informs that his son is arrested by the cruel leader of the Outlaw Syndicate. He also makes it clear that the leader has asked for a ransom of US$ 100,000.00. To arrange this much amount is a difficult task for O2.
