Plot : W.E., a captivating romantic tale that begins with two feeble but resolute women- Wallis Simpson and Wally Winthrop, who are completely different from each other in terms of the time and age but something that binds them together, is nothing else but the feeling of love. In 1990s, all of a sudden, a lonely Winthrop starts perceiving herself as the King Edward VIII's love interest, Wallis Simpson. The movie presents what happens when love turns into an obsession. She doesn’t takes herself as the key part of this legendary tale but she becomes so obsessed with the epic romance that she starts researching more about the same by visiting the place, where the remains and precious things of the king have been placed for the auction. After some point of time she comes to know that the love relationship of the legendary duo was also not really rosy as she assumed. Like her, the late lady Simpson faced the tormenting and the darker side of love. After going through all the details and viewing the remains of the king in the auction, she gets carried away by the charm of the king and soon she starts visualizing the events that has no connection with contemporary world.
