Plot : Vanishing on 7th Street is a thrilling horror film, which depicts the mysterious vanishing of a massive group of people, in the city of Detroit, following a global blackout, which results into total darkness. The main characters of this film are Luke, Rosemary and Paul (played by Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton and John Leguizamo respectively) who are three, among the last few survivors in the city. The film starts with Luke, a TV news anchor waking up one morning with an insight that none of his electronic equipment is working and everybody has disappeared from his building. Later on, the plot of the film surprisingly flashes ahead three days, where Luke is seen gathering together with other survivors, including Rosemary and Paul, in a dimly-lit bar located on Detroit 7th Street. They have all suddenly discovered that the city’s population has simply disappeared into thin air, leaving their worldly possessions such as cars and clothes behind. The terror starts uprising, when soon, daylight begins to fade away completely. As the circumstances aggravate even more, the panic overshadows them completely. They are left with no choice but to keep their sole diminishing light sources along with them, since they clearly know that the only way they can stay protected is via a light source. What will happen in the end? Will anybody be able to survive this deadly blackout? What can be the reason behind this strange encounter? All these queries can be satiated only the catching the movie in its entirety.
