Plot : “Trucker” is an awe-inspiring drama directed by James Mottern. The movie is all about a carefree, independent, successful truck driver Diane Ford (Michelle Monaghan), who is living her life in her own way and doesn’t bother about anything else. With long-haul trucking, her life is leading her to nowhere but still she is contented with it. She just believes in living life alone and unhesitatingly goes for one night stands. She possesses habits like all night drinking with Runners (Nathan Fillion, Serenity, Dr. Horribles Sing-A-Long Blog, and Castle etc). But one evening her insouciant life gets completely changed when somebody drops her 11 year old estranged son, Peter (Jimmy Bennett) at her doorstep. Peter himself doesn’t desire to live with her mother as he has always lived with his dad since his birth. But as his father is in hospital for treatment, he has to adjust with his mom and his mother needs to change her lifestyle for her son. Trucker video signifies, how, under the burden of new responsibilities, that truck driver steps back in her past and explores that her future is now not as barefaced as she has once imagined.
