Plot : The World Unseen is the story of two Indian women, set in an era when Cape Town was dominated by apartheid thinking. Amina (Sheetal Sheth), a rebellious taxi driver and part owner of a popular café named Location Café, and experiences an attraction for the beautiful Miriam (Lisa Ray). Miriam is a happily married traditional Indian mother and when asked by Amina, she readily agrees to join her for driving lessons. As their friendship flourishes the two women realize and succumb to the truth of their mutual attraction. Their relationship results in Miriam discovering the impossible truths about her marriage and Amina earning the disapproval of her neighbors.
