Plot : “The Tooth Hurts” is a side-splitting comedy, directed by Michael Lembeck. The movie is all about a hard-hitting hockey player Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson), who gets the punishment to be transformed into a full-grown tooth fairy, after he does an undignified thing by disheartening a fan. This punishment is temporary and he is bound to carry it out for one week. This player actually possesses a bad habit of keeping his opponents apart from their bicuspids. And now he has to face hard-times, as he has the charges of discouraging a young fan and not believing in tooth fairies at all. The Tooth Hurts video reveals that Derek’s punishment is quite severe, as he has to carry all the requisites of a tooth fairy like wings, magic wand and tutu. As indicated by the tag-line of the movie, ‘Can’t handle the tooth’, he’s unable to manage it all, as while awkwardly walking between the strangers, he loses his foot and often bumbles. But with the passage of time, Derek becomes accustomed to his changed individuality and this leads to exploration of his elapsed dreams. He then strives hard to make a place in his girlfriend’s kids’ hearts.
