Plot : Directed by the Academy Award nominated Joe Wright and written by Susannah Grant, ‘The Soloist’, demonstrates the real life story of Nathaniel Ayers (Jamie Foxx), a schizophrenic violinist. The man had a dream to play at the Walt Disney Concert Hall but in the second year at Julliard School, Nathaniel Ayers gets stricken with schizophrenia. Mentally disturbed, he starts paying Violin and Cello in the streets of Los Angeles. By chance, he happens to meet Steve Lopez (Robert Downey Jr.), a journalist looking for a good story for his paper who tries his best to help the musician get back to what he previously was and what he always wanted to be. Steve and Ayers develop a close friendship.  This drama movie is based on a book by Lopez accounting his relationship with Ayers.
