Plot : The world of Rock and Roll has given this world a number of endearing sights to remember. On one hand, there’s the image of Paul Simonon of The Clash smashing his bass guitar on the stage floor. This movie covers the life cycle of one such rocker, Spyder, and his childhood friend, Eric. The story begins on a high note, as Spyder’s debut album is a huge hit with him doing the vocals, and Eric providing the lyrics and composing the music. From there, begins the soul-searching, an inward looking journey of two friends, who are completely engrossed in the rock and roll culture of sex, drugs and booze fuelled binges. When Spyder’s second album bombs, he goes on a self-imposed exile to his hometown to live in obscurity, while Eric takes up the quiet job of a music teacher in a school. Seven years later, the two friends come together to confront the demons of the past; compelling them to take a soul purging journey across Route 66, with a group of rowdy musicians.
