Plot : Directed by Paul Haggis, The Next Three Days is a spine-chilling thriller. In this movie, everything is shown going absolutely smooth in the life of a couple, until a day their happiness gets inflicted with crime. John Brennan is living a prosperous and peaceful life with his wife Lara, until their world turns upside down when Lara is accused of committing a murder. Then in blink of an eye, the world around them gets converted into a horrifying nightmare and eventually their lives fell apart. Lara is shown accused of a murder charge and she make her best efforts to prove her innocence and also the fact that she hasn’t done anything wrong. But despite this, due to lack of evidences, she is sentenced to imprisonment. Her husband makes his earnest attempts to file appeal for her rescue, while struggling to deal with the responsibility of handling duties related to his career and taking care of his children simultaneously. Then the movie elucidates that even the final appeal gets rejected and it ends up Lara feeling disappointed with the entire judicial system.
