Plot : The walls of every house hold some dark secrets in them. While some of these secrets are harmless, others can threaten the very existence of lives in the house. The New Daughter witnesses the same when John James, who is in writing field, decides to change his location. Suffering the pain of separation from his wife, he takes his two kids along and moves to South Carolina. But peace doesn’t come to John as the place has its share of skeletons in the closet. His daughter, Louisa, develops a fascination for the burial site located nearby. Strange things start happening in the house as the picture moves forward. Noises haunt the house in the middle of the night as the domesticated cat goes missing and Louisa is seen walking in her sleep while hugging a witch doll, which doesn’t belong to her. All this raises John’s curiosity and he starts investigating the matter in the nearby areas. As Louisa’s condition deteriorates, John finds out through a caretaker that secrets are buried around the house. As the story develops, John finds his girl going to the burial place at night. Now that John is sure that supernatural powers are involved in the matter, he will take dangerous steps to protect his children.
