Plot : The story of The Misfortunates movie revolves around a young teenage boy who lives in a Belgium village. This boy named Gunther Strobbe lives with his alcoholic father, 3 uncles and his grandmother. As his father is an alcoholic , he spends most of his time in a pub with Gunther’s uncle, exploring deeper levels of excessive indulgence in sex, alcohol, or drugs. It seems that Gunther might also end up ruining his life like his father unless he finds an apt way to save himself. Gunther loves his family. The only thing that annoys him is drinking habit of his father. Later, Gunther becomes a writer and gets married.
