Plot : The Messengers is a Pang Brothers directed horror movie, produced by Sam Raimi. The film revolves around the Solomon family, who are worn out by doubts, chaos, and killings. Roy Solomon, his wife Denise, daughter Jessica and son Ben shift from Chicago, to an old farm in North Dakota, after facing financial problems. Roy is jobless from a long time and Jessica met with an accident due to drunken driving. Her accident results in hospitalization of Ben, which creates more problems for the family. Roy used to plant sunflowers and in order to harvest them, he employs an outsider, Burwell. After some time, Jessica starts observing ghosts and mischievous spirits in the house. She tells this to everyone but unfortunately, nobody believes her words. Her parents feel that she is insane and trying to get attention. The spirit of a boy injures Jessica, but her parents believe that these wounds are self-inflicted, as she wants to leave the house in order to go back to the city.
