Plot : “The Living Wake” is a story that revolves around the life of self-proclaimed artist and creative genius, named K. Roth Binew (played by Mike O’Connell). The dark comedy is a typical fantasy, based in a timeless universe. Binew has only one day to live, so he decides to spend his final day with some close ones. He organizes a farewell party for himself and invites some of his dearest friends as well as an infamous poet and biographer, named Mills Joquin, who is given the responsibility to record his final hours. Joquin (portrayed by Jesse Eisenberg) takes his friend on a bicycle-powered rickshaw, around town. Binew goes through a series of problems and misadventures after that. He closes his day with a final act at his living wake. Binew's friends gather together in front of a makeshift stage, to witness his insanity, one final time.
