Plot : The Joneses is a comedy movie that is satire on our consumerist society. The movie revolves around an apparently perfect family as they move to live in their suburban neighborhood. The posh suburban area is full of McMansions and all the things that attract the upper middle class society that lived there. The new family consists of Steve and Kate Jones and their smart teen-aged kids Jenn and Mick. They appear to be a perfect family by all means. Soon they become envy of the whole locality due to their high standards of living. Steve is admired by all for being a successful businessman possessing a gorgeous wife and a big house along with unlimited supply of materials. Similar is the case with Kate who becomes the trend-setter due to her beauty and designer clothes she wore. Both the children too were spreading their magic over other children by their cool clothes, latest cars, and gizmos. Their neighbors like in every suburb make every possible effort to keep up with them unaware of the truth behind the family. The Jones is actually a fake family who had been sent by a marketing company to introduce new products.
