Plot : Directed by Kathryn Bigelow, The Hurt Locker is thrilling action war drama about the military’s unrecognized heroes i.e. the soldiers. With the Iraq war as the backdrop, movie tells the tale of an elite Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal team whose members search and deactivate the bombs that have been placed on the roadsides in the streets of Baghdad. Their aim is to save the lives of others and make the city safe for the residents irrespective of their nationalities. The team has recently been taken over by a new sergeant, James (Jeremy Renner), as its head. James seems to be indifferent to death and surprises his subordinates Sanborn (Anthony Mackie) and Eldridge (Brian Geraghty), by thoughtlessly pushing them into the deadly game of urban combat. As the city is engulfed in chaos, Sanborn and Eldridge try to influence James, but in the process become aware of his real personality which changes their own lives!!
