Plot : The Good Soldier is a drama documentary directed by Lexy Lovell and Michael Uys. This movie chronicles on five battle experts from different American wars. It highlights the soldiers from the Vietnam War, Iraq War, World War II, and Gulf War, who after participating in battle to establish peace in their country. It understands the true meaning of peace, bravery and ultimately a good soldier. After entering into the war zone and brutally killing soldiers of other nations, they get to see a sea change in their own perspectives of war. The movie features honest interviews from soldiers in 1944, 1966, 1991, or 2003 wars, whose life’s sole motive was only to defend their country from adversaries. They eagerly stepped forward to save their country, but after perceiving inhuman slaughter of human beings and even unknowingly participating in that, they get to challenge their own beliefs of serving their nation in a positive way, as being a real soldier. The movie is an effort to honor those true citizens, who struggled to bring a change, who strived hard to fight against cruelty.
