Plot : The Girl From Monaco is a comedy drama, directed by Anne Fontaine about a lawyer who falls under the spell of a sexy weather girl and turns to his bodyguard for help. High-priced attorney, Bertrand Beauvois (Fabrice Luchini), is in his fifties and has taken up a new client, Edith Lasalle (Stéphane Audran). Edith has been accused of murdering a man as well as having links with the Russian mafia. When Bertrand learns that the Russian mafia intends to kill him as well as Edith, he arranges for his clients security and is himself followed by the stone-faced bodyguard named Christophe Abadi (Roschdy Zem). Christophe helps Bertrand avoid an old flame, and the two become friends, as the lawyer appreciates his bodyguard's wit and good judgment. However, later when the ambitious, sexy and absolutely gorgeous Audrey Varela (Louise Bourgoin), starts throwing herself at Bertrand, despite being almost half his age, Christophe finds it difficult to convince him that the lady might have some ulterior motives.
