Plot : The Forbidden Kingdom is an action based adventure comedy, directed by Rob Minkoff. The story revolves around an American teenager Jason (Michael Angarano), whose obsession with kung fu leads him to discover an antique Chinese staff, which turns out to be the weapon of legendary sage and warrior called the Monkey King (Jet Li). Jason’s discovery unexpectedly transports him back in time to ancient China where he meets the master of kung fu, Lu Yan (Jackie Chan) and the kung fu beauty, Golden Sparrow (Crystal Liu Yi Fei). Jason then joins an army of fierce warriors to rescue the Monkey King from the captivity of the evil Jade Warlord (Collin Chou) and restore his weapon.
