Plot : Based on a children’s novel by Roald Dahl of the same name, this is a stop motion animated movie. Mr. Fox (George Clooney) is a rebellious fox, who has no control over his instinctively wild behavior. He continues to raid farms and steal hen, turkey and cider, without a care about his safety. Once, when trapped along with Mrs. Fox (Meryl Streep) in a cage, setup by the farmers, he gives his word to Mrs. Fox, that he will mend his ways and become a responsible family man, if given a second chance. That he does for two years, until he is tempted by Kiley to raid the three farms visible from the tree of his house. Now, with a son and a nephew living with him, this act of his brings grave danger to the whole family. It also endangers some other animals in the vicinity, when the three farmers decide to camp outside their holes, and starve them in or force them out and shoot them. Mr. Fox galvanizes the animals and gets them to dig a tunnel into the same farms and empty their stocks. Mr. Fox counters the farmers’ response in ingenious ways.
