Plot : The Fall is an adventure filled movie which ultimately blends with fiction and reality. The movie follows two patients in a hospital both with orthopedic problems as they converse. Roy Walker (Lee Pace) is a stuntman in the 1920s Hollywood. While performing a daring stunt to impress his girlfriend he lands in hospital and becomes bed-ridden with paralyzed legs. His fellow patient is a small immigrant girl recovering from her broken arm. They both become friends and Roy tells her stories like that of Alexander The Great. Then he starts telling her the story about six different men who plan to kill a corrupt governor.The governor Odious had harmed these men at one time or other. Roy describes these men as an explosions expert Luigi, an ex-slave Otta Benga, an American Indian, Charles Darwin, a sidekick named Wallace and a masked bandit. Alexandria imagines this all in her mind as he narrates the story. Story-telling is actually an excuse for Roy to ask her to steal Morphine from the pharmacy so that he could commit suicide. As the story passes by, Roy makes it closer to reality and he comes nearer to his end.
