Plot : The Cove, a documentary directed by Louie Psihoyos, is about a group of activists who expose something that is a shocking instance of animal abuse and can also pose a serious threat to human health. Four decades ago Richard O'Barry had a lucrative career as an expert animal trainer. But now, Robert has given up his former life to become an animal right activist who protests against the hunting of aquatic mammals and keeping them in confinement. Despite being unwelcome in Taiji, a costal town of Japan where a major source of income is hunting dolphins, Richard along with a group of activists who are also filmmakers, entered the town. They also made their way into the well protected harbor, expecting to film not only how the fishermen abuse the dolphins, but also how the waters are being poisoned, which has deeply affected the marine ecology. Richard and his group succeeded in getting shocking images of how the Taijian fishermen have desecrated the dolphins and their habitat.
