Plot : The Counterfeiters is a drama movie, directed by Stefan Ruzowitzky. The movie is a true story of Salomon "Sally" Sorowitsch, who is known as a king in the world of counterfeiters. The movie is set shortly after the end of Second World War, when Sally reaches Monte Carlo.As he has hefty amount of cash in his hand, he moves to the casino for gambling. Sally is on an operation of counterfeiters organized by Nazis. Over 130 million pounds are printed, to weaken the economy of the state, which is considered the biggest scam in the world of counterfeiters. As Sally keeps on winning in the casino, he grabs the attentions of several.And as he came up as the veteran money and passport counterfeiter, he was arrested by the police soon. But police authorities use his talent for the sake of the world. As he helps the police, his living standard in the jail is raised, like getting an equipped bathroom, a bed to sleep, and as much as he needs to eat.
