Plot : The Big Year showcases the saga of three friends, who are intensely fascinated about an informal competition, which takes place among birdies. The problems that occur during the competition represent the troubles of their lives. This trio of friends shares a unique bond due to their common interest areas, though they are from different age groups. In spite of their common interest, the troubles of their lives are completely different from each other. Steve Martin experiences a mid-life cataclysm, on the other hand; Jack Black becomes the target of a late life tragedy. Owen Wilson’s trouble is completely different from others, because he is the victim of so called regular life troubles. These three friendly adversaries turn towards their common passion, when they fall into a state of depression, owing to the liabilities and compulsions of their lives. They decide to take a year out of their busy schedules to fulfill their passions. Their real adventure begins, when the trio decides to take part in a cross country journey competition. While finding many North American unique species of birds, they get a chance to come across solutions of those troubles, which have marred their daily lives.
