Plot : The Big Shot-Caller is a drama flick, starring the Rhein siblings and directed by Marlene Rhein. The story revolves around Jamie Lesser (David Rhein), who as a child had watched ‘Strictly Ballroom’ ninety-seven times in one day. After this, he develops a love for salsa dancing and aspires to become a salsa dancer. However, he grows up into a gauche, with a failed love life suffering from severe near-sightedness. To make matters worse, he loses his job as an accountant and along with that also loses his self confidence. After facing an overwhelming amount of disappointments he seeks the guidance of his alienated sister, Lianne (Marlene Rhein). Being an experienced and self-proclaimed hip hop dancing dynamo, Lianne motivates Jamie to not only overcome his physical and mental hindrances and regain his self-respect, but also to pursue his childhood ambition of becoming a salsa dancer and become what he is actually destined to be!!
