Plot : The Answer Man, a psychological drama directed by John Hindman, about a reclusive author who comes to realize how less he knows after being confronted by a single mother and a recovering addict. Twenty years ago, the book "Me and God", written by Arlen Faber (Jeff Daniels), helped redefine spirituality for an entire generation. And even now, people imagine Arlen as the man who can provide a solution to all their problems. Then one day Arlen, who rarely moves out of his house, meets Elizabeth (Lauren Graham), who is struggling to raise her young son as a single mother and Kris (Lou Taylor Pucci), a young man who has recently been releases from the rehab. Both these people feel that Arlen will provide them with the answers that will help them become better people and defeat their fear of failing in life. Will Arlen be able to help Elizabeth and Kris solve their issues or will he be totally clueless, as he has been for the past twenty years?
