Plot : David Sumner, along with his wife, has just moved to his wife’s native place. While the relocation should have offered the couple some sort of reprieve, the move proves to be a deleterious one for them. Perhaps, his wife has loads of expectations from him, and things have reached an extent where the distance between the two can only increase. The situation worsens when the couple realizes that they are surrounded by not-so-friendly locals, who actually wreak havoc in their lives. The film is a remake of the 1971 psychological thriller by the same name. It divulges that side of the human nature which goes berserk, and takes up severely violent means in a blatant attempt to save oneself and survive, while trying to halt the impending peril. While David may not be a perfect husband for his wife, he springs into action battling all odds, just to take his wife and himself out of the imbroglio involving the local folk. He might not be that expressive, but certainly leaves no stone unturned when it comes to abiding by his commitment.
