Plot : Storm is a movie by Hans-Christian Schmid about the criminal proceedings in a court of Bosnia. It revolves around two bold women who are fighting for dignity in the male dominated world. Hannah Maynard (Kerry Fox) is a prosecutor at International Criminal Tribunal in Hague. She gets involved in the trial of Yugoslavian General Goran Duric (Drazen Kuhn) who is accused of killing a large number of Muslim civilians in Bosnia. The case though sounds an easy one due to the hatred of Bosnians against the General, but the sharpness of the defense lawyer makes the case a complicated one.The defense points out a few loop holes due to which the case goes other way-round and the accused is just a few steps away from freedom. Now in order to bring the case back to her side, Maynard has to appease a local woman Mira Arendt who might have gone through the same kind of barbarities before moving to Germany. In her path are a number of obstacles like nationalist thugs and European Union bureaucrats who threaten the witness and also lure her with damage-control deals to keep the truth of the massacre from coming out.
