Plot : Written by Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, Star Trek is the eleventh movie to be made on the world famous TV series of the same name. Completed under the direction of J.J. Abrams, Star Trek is centered on the character James Kirk, whose father, George Kirk, died in the year 2233, fighting against Nero, on the day James was born. The movie continues, as James joins Starfleet, twenty years later, taking inspiration from Capt. Christopher Pike. An emergency situation at Vulcan, leads to Kirk’s joining the crew of Enterprise, which is set to sail under the command of Pike. Lt. Spock, who is not at all fond of Kirk is also aboard and is handed over the command, as Nero captivates Pike when the Narada attacks the Enterprise. Kirk undertakes the arduous task of disabling the Narada, only to find that the red matter launched deep into the surface by Nero, kills most of the population of Vulcan. Watch Star Trek and see how Kirk is banished to Delta Vega, as he protests against Lt. Spock. The story moves on to show Kirk meeting Ambassador Spock, who boards the Enterprise along with Kirk, from a nearby Starfleet outpost. The most interesting part of the movie shows how the Narada is destroyed, using Ambassador Spock’s ship and how Kirk succeeds in rescuing Capt. Pike.
