Plot : Directed by Duncan Jones, Source Code is a sci-fi movie. The story revolves around the protagonist Captain Stevens, played by Jake Gyllenhal, who is a captain at Nellis Air Force base. He somehow becomes a part of the mission, to find out the bomber who devised a plan to bomb a train of Chicago and is now planning to destroy entire Chicago. He finds himself in the body of the victim of bomb-blast. Scientists Rutledge and Goodwin utilize the active portion of his brain to create an unrealistic, but life-like illusion. Now, he can revive the memory of his last 8 minutes and can utilize this time to find out the culprit. He is carefully placed in the moment of bomb blast to gather the clues. But he finds no relevant information and returns back. He is sent by the team again and again, into that particular moment to find out the mastermind behind the whole criminal act. Ultimately, he finds some information regarding the unforeseen happening. As you watch Source Code movie, you’ll find yourself engrossed in its theme as it’s a league apart from others. The concept of 8 minutes is the USP of the movie, which makes it a must-watch.
