Plot : Sherrybaby is an out of the queue drama directed by Laurie Collyer. Sherry (played by Maggie Gyllenhaal) is the protagonist of this movie. Sherry has been behind the bars for about three years and was quite eager to come back to his previous life and stay with her daughter, Alexis (played by Ryan Simpkins). Alexis was putting her stay with Sherry’s brother Bobby (played by Brad William Henke) and his spouse Lynnette (played by Bridget Barkan). Earlier she was a drug addict and that is the reason why after come out of the prison, she found it difficult to adapt. But when Sherry and Alexis meet, they welcome each other with warm perceptions. However, things don’t work later on and unwillingly she finds her way back to drugs. She then makes up her mind o go back to the rehab, but before that she desired to establish a bond between her and Alexis. For this she requests her brother to take Alexis out and he agrees to it. Initially resisted going out with Sherry but afterwards, she gets calm. Even this meeting didn’t worked much and ultimately Sherry went back to rehab.
