Plot : “Season Of The Witch” is an implausible thriller and audacious fantasy adventure directed by Dominic Sena. The storyline revolves around a 14th century crusader, Lavey (Nicolas Cage). Lavey has just come back to his homeland with his comrade (Ron Perlman). Soon after their arrival, they find that their motherland is being attacked by the deadly Black Plague. To remove this epidemic from the roots, the 14th century priests give orders to two noble persons to transport a blamed witch, who seems to be responsible for this disaster, to a far off abbey, a monk housing building. The monks in the abbey are trying to deduce the powers of that accused witch, by performing various rituals. They are hoping to end the persistence of pestilence in that way. A priest (Stephen Campbell Moore), a roaming four-flusher (Stephen Graham) unites to make this mission successful. A bullheaded youth, who aspires to be a priest, also joins the mission.
