Plot : Saint John of Las Vegas is a comedy movie about a person’s addictions and his efforts to get rid of them. John (Steve Buscemi) is an ex-gambler who had run away form Las Vegas after his bad luck took a toll on him. After leaving gambling he recuperates by doing a normal job. He joins the nondescript post of insurance claims investigator at an insurance company situated in Albuquerque. Doing this job one day fate brings him back to the same old place. He has to accompany Virgil (Romany Malco) the top fraud debunker of the company to investigate a car accident near Vegas. In Vegas John has to face a dilemma. He has to decide whether to cash on his opportunity to get promotion or to lure himself to his obsession of gambling. On his way to Vegas he must face the demons who are the characters like a nude militant and a stripper which attract him to his old ways of earning. But he realizes that he must not run away from his addiction and instead he should face it. Surprisingly instead of Virgil, he is the one who brings the case close to completion.
