Plot : Sabor Tropical, a thrilling drama flick directed by Jorge Ameer, is about an American who while vacationing in Panama becomes involved in a relationship of anguish and violence. Brian (Matthew Leitch), who is trying to get away from romance turned sour, hires an online journalist Jorge (Jorge Ameer), to accompany him and make a documentary about his journey. Brian lands in Panama where he hopes to forget his sorrows by having sex and fun during the Las Tablas carnival. Jorge simply shoots as they spend time at the airport or get drunk by the sea, while Brian's unending need for sexual interest, continuously interrupts his work. Brian’s hopes to see the girl, whom he has met online, in Panama, are dashed to ground when the girl turns out to be a guy named Manos (Jose Rosete). What follows is no more than a steamy melodrama, as Manos, with his better looks and greater talent, upstages Brian, who never had a caring or magnetic presence.
