Plot : Rough Cut, a documentary directed by Todd Klick, is the true story of two filmmakers who did not shy away from killing in order to raise money to pay for their film. The independent horror film, Through Hike: A Ghost Story was the usual low-budget shocker. The movie was about five college friends who accidentally set free the ghost of a coal-mining baron from the 1800s-era, during a hiking trip across the Appalachian Trail. But eight months after the making of Through Hike had ended the strange events that led to the film being made, started to unfold gradually, when a body of a murdered woman was found in her home in Pennsylvania. It became known that the film had acted as a booster for two filmmakers, who were desperately looking for a chance to get their big break The question being asked was, whether the director of the movie along with his best friend, were ready to commit murder to fulfill their dreams of becoming Hollywood filmmakers?
