Plot : Rescue Dawn is an adventurous biography of Dieter Dengler directed by Werner Herzog. Dieter was the only American to ever break out of a POW camp in the impenetrable Laotian jungle. Rescue Dawn video shows a plane crash which indulges the German-American pilot Dieter Dengler in a jungle, where he undergoes a severe torturing circumstances created by the regional peasants. They send him to a prisoner camp. Dieter gets stuck among few mentally ill prisoners and eventually becomes close to Duane there. The two of them plan to escape out of this pathetic situation. Simultaneously, the continuous American bombings in that area left no food for the people living there and the guards also got extremely against the twosome. This led both of them to execute their plan now. But an out of the blue betrayal cracks their group, thereby forcing Dieter and Duane to accept that the jungle is their actual prison.
