Plot : Reprise is a Joachim Trier directed movie in which hope, love, creativity, dreams, passion are shown. The movie is depicted in a very different way - with black & white recordings and voiceovers. It is about two boys, Erik and Phillip, who dream of becoming successful writers. They adore an isolated writer Sten Egil Dahl. Both the boys try to get their manuscript published. Incidentally, only Phillip’s script is accepted and he turns into a star, overnight. Philip becomes famous in the Norwegian literary scene, while Erik continues to chase his dreams. Phillip falls in love with a girl named Kari. Things were going the same, when one day, Erik finds Phillip at a psychiatric hospital. Erik and his friend get him treated and bring him home. Phillip is no more able to write.
