Plot : Animated feature films have become an essential part of the modern day cinema, especially when it comes to catering to the needs of the young ones. Rango happens to fall in that category, but also, there is plenty for the adults to enjoy. Rango is the story of a chameleon with the same name, a naïve but sincerely genuine one at that. The movie begins with a bewildered Rango roaming under the scorching sun in the Mojave Desert. Rango bumps into an armadillo named Roadkill, and they both hit it off from the start and become good friends. The duo encounter an iguana named Beans, who then takes them to a town. The town ‘Dirt’ looks just like an old town from the Wild Wild West days. In a comical mix-up Rango takes on a hawk that had been preying on the townsfolk. After defeating the hawk in a bizarre fashion, Rango is appointed the sheriff of Dirt. The new sheriff then turns his attention on the growing water deficit plaguing Dirt. Rango organizes few of the townsfolk to solve the problem, but robbers attack and plunder all the water in the town and the unaware Rango ends up helping them. Immediately, Rango is cast away from the town and thrown back to the desert. Rango is hounded mercilessly by Jake, a rattlesnake sent by the Mayor of Dirt to kill Rango, and he threatens to expose the chameleon as a fake. Rango escapes and understands that the Mayor is linked to the water shortfall. Rango decides to redeem himself, but first he must put Jake and the Mayor to task.
