Plot : Racing Dreams is a documentary, directed by Marshall Curry. The film is about three teenagers who aspire to become professional drivers in the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). In order to fulfill their dreams, they participate in the World Karting Association's National Pavement Series. The film has included all the thrill and excitement, usually associated with Formula One championships. It features a series of five go-kart racing competitions. The director has also highlights the daily struggle of the three young racers. The story is not just about the race, but also records different dramatic events that take place during the competition. Besides the aspirations of the three racers, the film deals with other aspects of their lives including family pressure, school, public attention and their patience. Marshall Curry has told the story of three racers in a very refreshing manner, which never tends to be tedious or out-of-focus.
