Plot : Pride & Prejudice is a romantic movie based on Jane Austen's novel of the same name. The story revolves around the Bennet family who lives in Georgian England. In this class-conscious England of the late 18th century Mrs. Bennet has raised her five daughters in Hartfordshire with the aim of marrying a wealthy person who could support them financially. These five sisters the beautiful Jane, the clever Elizabeth, the bookish Mary, the immature Kitty and the wild Lydia too understand their responsibility of saving their house. One day a rich gentleman Mr. Bingley arrives in their neighborhood along with his sister Caroline and friend Darcy. Now this seems a perfect opportunity for the sisters. Jane immediately falls in love for Mr. Bingley. On the other hand, Elizabeth strongly dislikes Darcy who appears a proud rich man and owns half of Derbyshire. Love is in air for the sisters. Also there arrives another gentleman Mr. Collins who is actually not as good as he seems. Charlotte is attracted towards him. Ultimately a battle of sexes begins, bringing love and also a number of harsh realizations.
