Plot : Pontypool, a thrilling horror movie directed by Bruce McDonald, is about a small town of Ontario that comes under the attack of a deadly virus. Grant Mazzy (Stephen McHattie), who used to be a trained radio superstar, working as a shock-jock radio D.J. in the small town of Pontypool is something he had never aspired for. As Mazzy gets ready to start a regular work day, he is nearly hit by a hysterical woman who has apparently lost her grip on reality, on his way to work. Later, a shoot-out is reported between the provincial police and a group of local ice fishers, all of whom were blaring out gibberish, running around naked and had missing body parts. As Mazzy realizes that the town has been possessed by a strange form of infectious dementia, it is reported that a riot has broken out in Dr. Mendez's (Hrant Alianak) office. Now the question that is troubling Mazzy is the reason behind this weird epidemic and how to stop it?
