Plot : Pirate Radio is a comedy movie about the lovers of Rock and Roll. It is a fact-based film featuring a band of DJ’s who rocked the 1960s Britain. Eight Rock n Roll DJs broadcast 24/7 live music as they are based on an old tanker ship in the middle of North Atlantic that is just outside the jurisdiction of British Government. They are doing this to rebel against the government who made every possible effort to shut them down as they preferred listening Jazz. The captain of the ship is Quentin (Bill Nighy) who is also the owner of this Radio Rock. The members of this group are The Count (Philip Seymour Hoffman) who leads the group, Dave (Nick Frost), Simon, Angus, Midnight Mark and Smooth Bob. Their fellow crew members are their lesbian cook Felicity and two assistants, Harold and Kevin. The radio station sends vibrant signals across the country. This made them gain a lot of fans of every age group. This all outrages a government minister who keenly waits for a chance to ban the radio. Though he gets one, but the huge number of supporters of the radio is always ready to protect them.
