Plot : Directed by Cédric Klapisch, Paris is a romantic comedy drama about the dilemma about love and life. Pierre (Romain Duris), after being a successful professional dancer throughout his life, is diagnosed with a serious heart ailment. He is confined to his apartment in Paris as he waits for a heart transplant which may or may not heal him. He develops a new perspective of looking at people he meets. Soon he develops the habit of sitting in the balcony of his apartment and looking at various people going through their daily routines. He notices the unique lives of people from different walks of life as they face their own set of everyday problems. His sister Elise (Juliette Binoche), who is a single parent of her three children, moves into the apartment along with her brood, to take care of Pierre. However, even their presence does not change the latest habits of Pierrie who has become addicted to watching the residents of Paris dance before his eyes.
