Plot : Paraiso Travel, an adventurous romantic drama directed by Simon Brand, is about two young lovers from Medellin, whose love for one another is put to test by the harsh realities of life in New York City. Living in Columbia, Reina (Angelica Blandon) harbors the dream of finding fortune in New York City while Marlon (Aldemar Correa) hopes of winning her heart someday. When Reina finally finds a way of illegally entering into America, Marlon halfheartedly agrees to go with her. But soon after reaching New York City, Reina disappears, leaving Marlon to fend for himself in the unknown city. As he tries to find Reina, Marlon remembers their tormenting journey into the U.S and soon starts feeling lost. But just before he loses all hope, Marlon meets Roger Pena (John Leguizamoa) a stuttering sadomasochist, who takes him under his wing. Still obsessed with his love for Reina, Marlon soon comes to realize that sometimes losing what one wants is the only way to finding what one really needs.
