Plot : There are not many works of cinema, which give the audience a different feel from each angle. Our Beloved Month of August is one such picture, which brings together a lot with it to surprise the movie lovers. Gomes, an aspiring movie maker, lands in Arganil, a place in Portugal, in the month of August, to make a film. Accompanied by a small team, he goes through what all is going on in the land swarming with travelers, and where localites are having a good time under the sun. Forgetting the story he came up with, he gets engaged in catching the essence that Arganil is carrying. He films the banalities of Arganil, and looks at the whole picture through the context of melody. He weaves the story through a family, which includes a father, who is carrying a broken heart, and his daughter, who is trying to fill the empty space in her father’s life. Would Gomes be able to complete the task as he wished, or his surroundings will change the road he is heading to?
