Plot : Obselidia is a fantabulous drama directed by Diane Bell. The movie asks the viewers, a very significant and important question: if tomorrow marks the destruction of world, then in what way, should all of us send last, vital and the only moments of our life. It revolves around a lonesome librarian, George, who considers love as an outdated process. But a road trip brings upon a sea change in his thinking and life as well. While embarking a journey with cinema projectionist named Sophie, to Death Valley, his perception towards love changes and he finds a new perspective. This begins when, in his mission to pen down the description of soon superseded professions, he decides to travel to Death Valley to be acquainted with experiences of an eccentric scientist. This researcher, with whom George is going to meet, claims to make predictions over the looming end of the world. George, in order to make his journey productive, takes along a silent film projectionist with him.
