Plot : ‘Nine’ is musical tale of romance, directed by Rob Marshall. The movie is all about a self centered and famous film director Guido Contini (Daniel Day-Lewis). On being reached to the age of fifties, the arrogant director confronts a midlife crisis that not only suppresses his creativity but also raise complicated situations in his personal life as well. While struggling to find a new script and meaning for its future venture, he finds himself caught by some romantic but drastic conditions as well. Just before one week left for shooting of his new stint, he involves in balancing his personal and professional lives and meeting the demands of numerous women in his life including his wife (Marion Cotillard), his mistress (Penélope Cruz), his film star muse, Claudia (Nicole Kidman) his confidant (Judi Dench) and costume designer, an American fashion journalist, the prostitute Saraghina (Fergie) from his youth and his mother (Sophia Loren). The nine trailers indicate that a change kicks in Guido’s life when he comes across to the fact that his profession is actually ruining his personal life. Then he must make efforts in order to balance his creativity and personal life. Otherwise he has to surrender or die to the addictive demands of women surrounding him.
